Halloween & Fall

My favorite time of year is here!! Time to do lots of crafts and bake desserts! There will be a lot more posts coming up of the new crafts I make. Hope you like them!

Cricut Cake!

Our awesome neighbor gave us the Cricut Cake! It is sooooo cool! You can cut fondant, icing sheets, gum paste, and tortillas. So far we have made cupcakes and mini cakes! Thx Mike and Nicole!!

My sisters Birthday was a few weeks ago. She wanted to make all of her invitations. She made a few by herself then decided that it wasn't very fun. She asked me to make the rest of them. Of course I said I would so here they are.

Bags

The cricut also does bags. On "Forever Young" there is a bag for every page. I saw this cute idea for a bag I tried copying it but it turned out the complete opposite. In the picture you can see my hand the bag wouldn't stay up so I had to hold it up.

Random Cards

This is such a simple card to make. First I just cut out a square card and embossed it with "Swiss Dots" embossing folder. Then the flower is from "Forever Young" cartridge. It seemed like it needed something in the middle so I filled it with diamonds. You can't tell in the picture but I folded up the edges up on the flowers to make it look a little better.

Christmas

For Christmas I got two new cartridges. One of them is "From My Kitchen." The telephone is from "From My Kitchen". You can't really tell but it says "Miss talking to you." Another thing I got for Christmas is a huge pack of all different colors of glitter. So I decided to glitter it turquoise.

Place Mats!

During the Summer my mom and I found out that the cricut could cut fabric. So we decided to make place mats. What you do is you buy this iron on fabric stiffener. Then you iron it on to your blank piece of fabric. Next you stick the fabric on to your cricut mat the cut what you want on the cricut. Once you have done that you peel off your shape. Then you peel the back off of the iron on fabric stiffener. Last but not least you iron on your shape to the base fabric. How we did the ribbon on the edge is we just ironed on the iron on stuff then we folded it over the edge of the place mat so it was even on both sides then we ironed it on both sides.

This is one of my favorite cards. The cartridge is From My Kitchen.

The cartridges I used were Cuttin Up for the letters and Walk In My Garden for the Flower. The buckle on the two cards is the top of a soda can.
